The PM is meant to be a handheld bag. It's also lighter than the GM because it's a smaller bag. My PM doesn't sag as much as the GM did, even with all my stuff in it. I suggest you go to the store to try both on and see which one you like better but if you're looking for a shoulder bag, I would go with the GM. L.
